Layla’s Preschool Field Trip

Today we went to Schnepp’s Farm with Layla and her preschool class. It was on a day when Daddy was out of town and I didn’t feel comfortable with Layla going without one of us there. So baby Tatum came along for the fun. Luckily she did pretty well till the end when she had a serious meltdown on the train ride.
Layla’s class was learning about nutrition so it was really fun for them to see where food grows. They were even able to pick some vegetables.


One of the farmers pulled some swiss chard right out of the ground and Layla loved it. She ate the whole stem and then asked for more. Too funny!

When we got home Layla really wanted to try the vegetables they picked. Unfortunately it happened to be radishes. Here is what she thought about how that tasted!!
