Halloween!!

We had another great Halloween on our street. I made the usual pot of chili and our friends and neighbors came and hung out in the driveway before the daddy's took the little ones out trick or treating. The mommy's sat out front to hand out candy. We went with the superhero theme this year and of course Juan and I threw our costumes together about 30 minutes ahead of time. Tatum absolutely loooooved Halloween this year. She also really enjoyed her superhero cape and ran around like a crazy baby with a huge smile on her face the whole night.

Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch with the Henry's. It is always still so warm here in October so we try to go early in the morning before it gets too hot. The kids had so much exploring around the farm, seeing animals, having their faces painted, and of course choosing a pumpkin.

Soccer!!

Sure makes for a fun day of soccer when you get to play your girlfriend! These two girls had a great day of soccer together. They both hustled up and down the field, scored goals and were really good team players with big smiles on their faces the whole game.

The aquarium Day 2

I really wanted to take the girls to the aquarium in Long Beach. I have heard such great things about it and it did not disappoint. The girls and I had so much fun seeing the coolest sea animals!

California Day 1 Pumpkin Patch

We took Shelby with us to meet the Hackney's at the pumpkin patch in Long Beach for some fall fun. All of the kids had a blast. There were lots of rides (including pony rides) and even a petting zoo.

Quick California Getaway Day 1

It was fall break for Layla and Juan was going to be out of town for work so I decided (totally last minute) to take the girls to Long Beach for a couple days. We did not get a chance to get to the beach this summer and since the weather was going to be beautiful in Long Beach I figured we would take full advantage of Juan's frequent flier miles! I did look like a mess in LAX with 2 girls, 2 carseats, luggage and a stroller but it was definetly worth it. Thanks to Lori and Megan for taking such good care of us!!
