6 Months

Layla had her 6 month doctor appointment on Monday and she wanted to show everyone her cool bandaids. She had to have another 4 shots but she did really well this time and only cried for a few minutes. She is in the 90th percentile for her height and weight. She weighs 18 pounds 8.5 ounces. We are still trying to figure out the allergy issues and why she has blood in her poop. Unfortunatly we still haven't been able to nail down what is causing it. So I am now on a really strict diet of chicken, rice, fruits and veggies, and oatmeal. Oh and rice milk and hot tamale candy too! Lucky me. I am really hoping this clears up soon. Thankfully our baby is healthy and happy and we are loving watching her grow.

Sitting up

Layla is sitting up on her own! I never walk too far away though.... she's not that sturdy quite yet.

It's raining, It's pouring

Ok maybe more like just sprinkling. Still a great day for a baby to wear her rainboots (thanks Missy)! Is it unnecessary for a 6 month old to be in rain boots.... Yes. But are they the cutest stinkin things ever..... Absolutely!!

Tired baby

Layla fell asleep in the car right as I pulled into the garage. I wanted to change her diaper before I put her down for her nap and since she had just barely fallen asleep, I thought she could wait a couple minutes till I put her back to sleep. So I set her in her chair while I brought in a bag of groceries. Well I guess she couldn't wait anymore and fell asleep in her chair.
