A Great Weekend

I absolutely love this time of year in Arizona (mainly because I know the miserable summer is just around the corner). We have had such nice weather over the last couple of weeks and we took full advantage and enjoyed the weekend. Juan and I started out Saturday with a nice workout that was very much needed (darn those girl scout cookies), ran some errands and finished off with some yard work. We always like working in the yard but it is so much more enjoyable when it is not 100+ degrees! The dogs seem to have a good time too boxing (thus their breed) the day away.



My mom and dad were in town so we met them in Scottsdale for dinner on Saturday night. Always fun to get to see family when they are here. I think I ended up eating a little off of everyones plate. Why does whatever someone else ordered always look so much better than what you ordered? Discuss....



We finished off dinner with a trip to Haagen Daz for a scoop.

My girlfriend Missy was in town for work so I met her at her hotel for some fun in the sun. Her hotel had water slides, wave pool, a lazy river, etc. I braved a swimsuit, although I will spare you all the detail of that, and we enjoyed the day.



The day was finished off with another amazing Arizona sunset. Aaahhh till next weekend....

Goodbye Silver :(

We sold my car!! We parked it on Monday for a couple of hours and the first guy who called and wanted to test drive it bought it. I had a feeling it would sell fast but not that fast. I was so sad to see it go but happy for the new family who bought it. Now I need to decide on what new car to get.... any suggestions?? Good thing we have an extra car (as Juan likes to point out) so I'm not carless and can take my time and make a good decision.
