To celebrate Juan’s birthday we started the morning off with protein pancakes (shocker!)…..and they were yummy!
Layla decided Daddy reeeeally wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday. We usually go to the zoo during the week and I could not believe how crowded it was on a Saturday. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Tatum lasted about 3 minutes in the stroller (another shocker!) so Juan strapped on the Baby Bjorn. Tatum was the happiest baby ever after that. Everyone passing by her had to comment on her thighs, cheeks, etc.
She was really so happy even though it doesn’t seem to show in any of the pictures I took.
Juan had never been in to pet the stingray’s before so he and Layla had fun doing that.
I made Juan’s favorite caramel cake. It turned out to be the best one I have made yet. And not just because Tatum’s allergies have seemed to clear up and I can eat whatever I want again. Even Juan said it was one of the best!
We always celebrate Kaleb’s birthday around the same time as Juan’s since we don’t know his exact birthday and know it must have been sometime in January. I cannot believe this old guy is 7 already. He has started to turn really gray. He still has quite a bit of spunk when we let him run around off leash. We sure love this dog!
