Baby Shower

Over the weekend we were lucky enough to have a fun family baby shower. It was so fun that everyone was able to be there, including the kids, to help us celebrate. We played a game where everyone cut a string the length they thought would fit around my baby bump. Even the kids got to play


Dad and Reed both won since their strings were the same length.

So they arm wrestled for the prize

We were blessed with lots of fun stuff for the baby!!

Paint finished

Here is the room all painted. It is a neutral color with a tone on tone stripe. We also bought a new dresser and ordered her crib. Now if I could just decide on some bedding....

Baby's Room

We took full advantage of having Adam in town and he helped us paint the babies room. Thank goodness for us he does not relax very often. He got the room painted in no time.


We finally did talk him into relaxing a bit for a bbq.


Juan cooked, (Kaleb supervised the food)


and Bailey kept watch (there was a jack rabbit driving her crazy running through the wash).

Belly Pics

Due to requests for pictures I am reluctantly posting a couple of my lovely baby bump. It has definetly taking me some time to get used to the look of a pregnant belly but I am starting to love it. Even though it is so low and such a funny shape it makes me happy. I think I am just happy because I know our sweet baby girl is in there.

These are my belly at 28 weeks.





How funny is the straight on shot?! The lovely mark above my belly button is an old belly button piercing scar that is now stretching into a lovely shape.
