Papa Bill!!
How lucky were we to get to spend this past weekend with one of our favorite people. Papa drove from California with the DeSchepper's for McKinley's baby blessing. We were able to beat out Joyce and Shaun since we have a bedroom and bathroom downstairs that would be perfect for Papa. We currently use it as our office so we moved out a couch and brought a bed downstairs. Now Layla calls the office "Papa Bill's Room." I am keeping the bed down here for a little while....you never know when he may be back! A girl can dream!!
Layla had so much fun with Papa. They danced and sang songs. Papa would sing a funny version of the ABC's and Layla would say "silly Papa!!"
Of course we made a stop at US Egg to take Papa for our favorite pancakes. No visitor leaves the Johnson house without a stop there.
We miss him already!!
