Tatum is 4 months!

I cannot believe our little baby is already 4 months old. On the other hand I can't believe she has only been here for 4 months since we can't hardly remember life before her. I took her in for her 4 month check up today (she is technically 4 1/2 months old). She weighs 17 pounds 2.5 ounces and a little over 25 inches tall. Big healthy baby.

Here are some of what Tatum has going on at 4 months. We are still working on figuring out her food allergy issues. I am going to cut eggs out of my diet now too and see if that helps. She is getting less fussy everyday so that is encouraging. She loves Layla and gets so excited whenever she sees her. Tatum is still waking up lots at night but usually takes a long afternoon nap (trade off!). She loves to lay on her changing table and talk and laugh. She also loves to look at herself in the mirror.

Tay's cool tricks
Tatum can sit up all by herself. She is still a bit wobbly but such a strong girl!

She has her 2 bottom teeth already! They came in about two weeks ago

35th Birthday

Well other than the fact I turned 35 my birthday was a lot of fun. I was woken up early by my sweet little 3 year old wishing me a happy birthday. I thought it was so sweet that Layla woke up remembering it was my birthday. Juan spoiled me in the morning with a trip to the day spa including a massage and a coconut oil scalp massage which was amazing! I also had a nice afternoon nap too. For dinner Juan grilled carne asada and we enjoyed dinner on the patio. He even made soy free dairy free brownies for dessert. I love my cute little family and am so thankful for how good they are to me.

Utah Trip

We made a quick getaway to Utah to visit with our families and enjoy a Utah football game. We were thinking/hoping the game would be warm enough for the girls to enjoy. Instead it was super cold but we still had a great time.

Tatum in her "bed" at the hotel. Too bad she didn't sleep in there

Layla was so excited to get to play with Brynley

Yummy dinner at the Dodo. One of my favorite places to eat (wasn't as fun to eat there on my super strict diet)

Layla and Grandma Sharon having fun at the game

Mommy keeping Tatum warm

Two worn out girls after the game

We had a fun family dinner at Kacie's and Layla had so much fun playing with her cousins

Decorating Halloween cookies

Juan teaching Chandler some football plays

Look at aunt Kacie's backyard! So beautiful. Layla and Kacie were watching for deer and looking for caterpillars.

It was so so nice having Juan travel with us. It was a.l.o.t of work traveling as a family of four

New Bling

Juan and I struggled with whether or not to pierce Layla's ears but in the end we were glad we did. So we decided to pierce Tatum's ears as well. It is seriously so so not fun. Tatum wasn't very happy about having hers done but was no where near as bad as Layla and was just fine a couple minutes later.

See! Still a happy girl!!

Big Sisters

Layla and Sage are such good big sisters....even though Tatum is looking at me like "seriously, you think this is a good idea mom" and baby Ty is trying to make a run for it.

Matching

Layla loves to match Tatum....even at night! Now even their pj's have to coordinate.
This picture cracks me up how they both have their fingers in their mouths.
