LAYLA IS 2!

Where has time gone? Still seems like yesterday we were anxiously awaiting your arrival into this world. It wasn't an easy arrival but hearing you cry for the first time was a sound I will never forget. The instant love that Daddy and I both felt is hard to put into words. You are truly the love of our lives and we are so blessed to be your parents.

Layla had her 2 year check up today. She is the 20th percentile for weight and the 90th for height. Here are all of the things she is about these days

Still loves her blankies and prefers to have 2 at all times

Loves playing with her babies

Bailey is still her favorite dog and sometimes when she is upset she asks for Bailey to hold her

Talks ALOT! Long sentences too

Can jump up in the air off both feet!! She gets pretty high and it makes me nervous

Still not the best sleeper

Loves to sing and dance....her most requested is Bob Marley?!

So independent and wants to do everything herself including putting on her clothes

Loves Thomas the Train and all of his friends

Has really great manners

Can throw a really good tantrum!

Keeps mommy and daddy really entertained everyday.

Gets stopped everywhere we go. People can't seem to help but comment on how beautiful she is....in particular her caramel skin and light curly hair. Of course we think she is the cutest thing too but we are a bit biased!

We love you a whole bunch Layla and can't remember what life was like before you....guess it must not have been important!!
